A space for you to grow, heal, and thrive.
One foot in front of the other, dear friend
I hold a Masters of Counselling Psychology, as well as an Honours Bachelor Degree in Social Psychology.
Having worked in both private and psychiatric spaces with adults and teens, my experiences have provided me with tools to support clients in understanding and fostering meaning-making, and to create a sense of safety in a judgement-free relationship.
While my focus comes from a variety of frameworks including a trauma-focused approach to ACT, Narrative Therapy, CBT, REBT, and Parts-Work. I believe in tapping into the values that make you who you are, those fundamental pieces that will allow you to make decisions that feel authentic to you, your goals, and the life you want. This process is called clarifying your core or grounding principles.
All of this to say - your sessions would be based on your unique preferences and needs.
My areas of interest are anxiety, depression, self-awareness and growth, the HPA Axis, the gut-brain connection, and assisting you in adjusting outgrown habits or ideas.
In terms of Scandinavia - I lived in Norway for almost 4 years! I speak both Norwegian and English.
